Sea.ach PinLift Studio — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
WHO WE ARE
Sea.ach Photography operates PinLift Studio as a private tool for preparing and publishing its own photography on Pinterest. This policy covers PinLift Studio, not all services on our photography website. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
INFORMATION WE USE
PinLift uses selected photographs, filenames, campaign details, studio and service-area information, intended audiences, search phrases, image descriptions, captions, destination links and planned posting times. Photographs may contain identifiable people and embedded file metadata. When Pinterest is connected, PinLift also uses the authorized account’s username, board names and identifiers, an access token, and links to Pins published through the app. Pinterest handles sign-in; PinLift does not ask for or store your Pinterest password.
IMAGE ANALYSIS
Drafts and selected photo copies are saved in the browser on the device running PinLift. When image analysis is requested, an image or image URL, its filename, and relevant campaign context are sent through the app server to OpenAI to generate visual descriptions and draft copy. Results are saved with the draft. Analysis requests disable response storage, but this does not disable every form of provider-side retention or security logging. OpenAI’s processing is subject to its applicable terms and policies.
PINTEREST CONNECTION AND PUBLICATION
Connecting Pinterest authorizes the app to read the connected account’s information and boards and create Pins. After the user confirms publication, PinLift sends the photograph, title, description, alt text, destination link and selected board identifier to Pinterest. The attached photo may contain file metadata. Published content is subject to the board’s visibility settings and Pinterest’s terms and privacy policy. Review both the photo and generated copy before posting. Only photographs we are entitled to process and publish should be used, with appropriate permissions for client photographs and photographs of children.
STORAGE AND DELETION
Browser drafts and cached photo copies remain until removed in the app, cleared through browser site-data controls, or removed by the browser. Removing a Pin from the workspace removes its local draft and cached photo; it does not delete a Pin already published on Pinterest. Resetting the workspace removes the current batch. Exported files must be deleted separately wherever they were saved.
The Pinterest access token is held in an encrypted, HTTP-only cookie until its expiry or 30 days, whichever is shorter. A sign-in security cookie lasts up to 10 minutes. Disconnecting Pinterest clears the local connection cookie. To revoke authorization, use Pinterest’s account settings; to remove a published Pin, delete it on Pinterest. Removing local data does not automatically delete information held by service providers under their own retention policies.
YOUR CHOICES AND SECURITY
You can review and edit generated copy, remove drafts, disconnect Pinterest, and contact [email protected] about privacy or removal requests, including photographs that depict you. Applicable privacy rights depend on your circumstances and law. We use encrypted token storage, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect the device and browser profile used for PinLift. OpenAI and Pinterest may process information outside your country under their applicable arrangements.
ABOUT THIS POLICY PAGE
This policy page is hosted on our Zenfolio website. Visiting the page is separate from using the locally operated PinLift app. The website’s hosting services may process visitor connection information and cookies; use the website’s cookie controls where available. Hosting this page on Zenfolio does not mean Zenfolio hosts the PinLift app or its photo-analysis requests.
CHANGES
Automatic background scheduling is not active in the app version described here. This policy will need review before adding hosted photo storage, background scheduling, analytics, additional users or other material changes to processing. Updates will be reflected in the date above.
